Hebontes is a fictional mix of several training grounds in Germany, fittet in the setting of vanilla ArmA3.

My wish was to give all ArmA 3 communitys a place where they can practise their tactics, especially infantry, mech infantry and tanks. Sure the island is yet not perfect and has many issues, but since our summer vacation ist ahead, we had to get a combat ready version out now. After more than four months of planning, painting, terraforming, repaint, design and object placement we finally got the first release candidate working.

My girlfriend Chrissy and me are happy to announce the release of our recent project, the island of Hebontes. You can support us by donate an amount, no matter how much, we appreciate it a lot! Thank you!! In LotD- 5 dollars gets you a whole deck and plenty of decent cards.ĭuel Links, however is free and mobile while LotD starts around 20 dollars and is not mobile.HEBONTES AAF/NATO MILITARY TRAINING GROUND When it comes to paying money, in DL 5 dollars will get you a few packs with a chance at a random ultra. The music and 3d animations are also trash in LoTD The multiplayer is entirely play for fun, not rewards. People still d/c quit out of games if they're losing though and I don't know why. In Lotd, There's no point in worrying about ranked games, there are no reward bonuses for winning or consequences for losing, no actual ranks. Sadly, the community is scarce, it's hard to find games unless you start actively trying to add people. I can grind out a better deck from LoTD in one day than months of playing duel links. It's also far far far easier to make any deck you want in this game. LotD- Has far more cards and methods of summoning from Pendulum, xyz, synchro, etc. but this stuff is ultimately not very important at all. However DL cetainly has a lot more flair to it, between the music, voices, animations, skills. But eventually you will hit a wall of players who've invested the time and money to make really strong decks and if you want to beat them either you will have to start dropping money or tons of time. When it comes to ranked, you want to win to unlock all the bonuses. It makes it really hard to react to your opponents' trap cards during the battle phase, and most often it can lead to you getting easilly wiped in a single turn. I also don't like the speed duel aspect of not having a second main phase. After a few months of playing, I barely have anything competitive. In Duel Links it's very hard to grind for the cards you want, you will be spending tons of time farming npc after npc after npc for a few gems to maybe get your card you're going for. When it comes to a choice between LotD and DL, I personally enjoy LotD better.
